The short version

Dyestack does not collect, store, or share any information about you. Your photos and videos are developed on your own device and never leave it. The optional Sky forecast (below) is the only feature that uses the internet.

What the app does with your files

When you open a photo or video, Dyestack reads it on your device, develops it, and saves the result to your photo library or to the folder you choose. Nothing is uploaded. There is no account, no sign-in, and no server on our side.

Permissions

Sky forecast, in detail

Forecast files are built from public-domain NOAA weather-model data and hosted on Cloudflare. A request for a file reveals your network address to the host and which 5 by 5 degree region (a tile, roughly 500 km square) you asked for, as any web request does; we do not keep a log tied to you and have no accounts to link it to. Alerts are scheduled on your phone.

Saved looks and settings

Your saved looks and preferences are stored on your device only, and are removed when you uninstall the app.

Analytics, ads, and third parties

Dyestack contains no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking.

Children

Dyestack collects no personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this ever changes, we will update this page and the date above before the change takes effect.
